The Biesemeyer Award |
Description
The Biesemeyer Award was established in 1998 to recognize the most outstanding
LVVSA volunteer for the year. It was established to honor Ralph Biesemeyer,
one of the founding members of the club and exemplary volunteer, and to foster
the continued spirit of volunteerism that keeps the club alive. Nomination requests
for someone who has not previously won the award are sent with dues notices
in January and are reviewed by a committee of non-nominees. The nominee with
the most votes will be selected to receive the award at the annual club banquet.
